i made it.

Share it Please
hey- i made it after hours and hours and hours of flying and sitting in airports and not lots of sleep. we begin our training today, therefore i wont be able to contact anyone or update this until the 27th. at that point, i will be able to give an update (i think) and we will be headed to malawi. currently, we are in johannesburg, south africa. so thanks for the prayers for the safe travels and continue to keep me in your prayers as we continue to prepare to show the people of malawi who Jesus is.

Also, a great update. After lots and lots of encouragement (and threatening) by one of my teammates...i was able to swallow my first malaria pill. 179 left to take. So far so good. We have began to get to know one another, and absolutely love my two teammates. they are absolutely amazing (and hilarious.)

Keep up the prayers and an update will come soon.

I get to be at work in the lovingkindness of our God in joining His call to redeem those whom HE loves thru you!! Big stuff to me!Circumstances come & go. Some of our doing & some from pure outside influences. The greatest thing is God is the ONE always faithful!!

Keep up the good work with the pills. I used to have the same problem, so I "practiced" swallowing soft foods that were pill-sized. My favorite thing to practice on was candy orange slices that I cut up into the right size. Mark says I still look like a chicken when I take pills, but I can do it now. We are praying for you. We're proud of you! Aunt Denisa

Good morning or whatever it is there. Our house Church prayed for you and I am still beside you in prayer. The thought this morning for me that I am sharing with you is when you look into the eyes of those in need you are looking into the eyes of GOD! dude - that gets into my kitchen!!! "when did we SEE you Lord ... When you did it to the least of these, you did it unto ME."

Keep the Faith, david
